When dog growled a low voice, this is an aggressive state, characterized by an almost complete absence of fear. But at the same time nagging does not mean that the animal probably carried out the attack. Instead, it is usually most pronounced in those cases where the dog is really very aggressive, but so-called “social systems” does not allow it to attack and bite the opponent. It can be regarded as a kind of snarl words “arrogance”, the object of which is primarily “the enemy”, located nearby, but no cause for fear. If a dog rushes into a fight, growl turns into a sound, much like the barking, but most likely it can be described as a growl. Even in those cases when a not muttering dog goes into a fight, it is possible to distinguish short, not very distinct sound of barking. Somewhat different in character is a nagging, which replaces the barking when the external stimulus is too weak and does not cause this barking. In these cases, often grumbling turns into a squeak or squeal. The aggressive snarl can probably be regarded as a prologue to a very aggressive bark.
In cases when dog is actively seeking to do something nice for you, but for some reason can’t, the animal begins to squeal or even bark, expressing his whine this way.
